I lost myself. My emotions were so intense when I drank. It always felt like the world was smushing me. I drank to feel nothing but ended up feeling everything to the extreme. I just stopped caring.

I had an amazing therapist that suggested a dual diagnosis rehabilitation facility. It took two try's but as I got sober, I realized how amazing my life has the potential to be.

I still have cravings and drinking dreams but they are fewer and farther between. I have amazing relationships with my family and friends. I have become so insightful I'm learning and growing every single day and I love it. I wouldn't give up my sobriety for the world.
