One was always promised to myself, and drunk is where the first drink of the day would take me.

My last drunk something "snapped" and I saw my life in rewind. I knew if I continued I'd be moving on the other things since the drink wasn't getting me numb enough anymore.

I have a life of peace and acceptance and could not imagine going back.
