Rock bottom kept lying to myself, then I heard about the 2 brown bag method. One bag has a mirror, the other a moist baby ruth candy bar in a zip lock bag. Everytime I got the urge to drink I would ask the bags, "Do I want to be able to look in the mirror? Or do I want to return to be that piece of shit I have been most my life?" At First was rough but got better every day, after a month I could go by a liquor store with out looking at it.

My emotional, physical, health really improved. My relationship improved, my job improved. I got my confidence back.

20 plus years later I enjoy things, I'm retired own my car and house. I am not rich but I am free and sleep well. Life is good.
