01 What it was like

A life of lying and fooling everyone around me, especially myself. Trying to numb myself so I didn’t have to face realities of life to a point I hurt many important friends and family in my life. I was not the father my kids needed and deserved.

A life of lying and fooling everyone around me, especially myself.

02 What happened

Hitting the many bottoms of bottoms. Pregamed before my friend’s son’s birthday party that wound up with me in a complete blackout which ruined a friendship with a very close friend and a strain on others I love. My daughter cut off communication with me and I knew I had had enough.

03 What it is like now

Could not be happier. I turned my life around and my path is clear and bright. I face life head on and deal with any and all challenges I used to avoid by any means possible. I regained the relationship with my daughter and I know I can be the dad my kids need and deserve..and I am.
