I was scared I was going to spiral into an alcoholic nightmare I’d never climb out of. I was sick of being sick and tired.

I walked into AA 6 days after a blepharoplasty- an eye lid lift-I looked terrible, but I wanted sobriety, so I humbled myself and drove to the meeting.

My life is incredibly rich; with a Higher Power that I listen to, wonderful new friends, service work I enjoy, and a grand daughter who has never known me to drink.
