01 What it was like
Round the clock drinking, isolation and loneliness like I never want to experience again. At night I would ask god to not let we wake up and curse him in the morning when I did.
Round the clock drinking, isolation and loneliness like I never want to experience again.
02 What happened
I woke up on April 25th 1982 with a desire not to drink. I do not know why I just had the overwhelming desire to not pick up a drink. On the 27th I knew I had to get some help and went to treatment for 45 day. That started my journey.
03 What it is like now
A life I would never trade for a drink. I stay active in my 12 step program, a do not put myself in dangerous situations. I stay ever vigilant. I ask God to help me in the morning and thank him at night and try to help who I can when called upon.
