I was lost. Drinking, drugging, missing work (quit soon after relapse), promiscuous, lying, cheating... The good me was gone.

If I hadn't called my mom and told her I didn't know what to do anymore, or she hadn't offered me a place to stay in a different state, I'd be gone. No joke about the jails, institutions, death...I was headed to one of those.

I just got married 10-15-16! I started a job working with troubled youth a month ago (always wanted to do that), and my family is near. I still struggle with cravings and life setbacks that cause to me to think about using again, but I know where the meetings are when I need them, and it works for me.
