Pure Chaos! Everyday was like living a real life nightmare . Jails, institutions, thank god I skipped the death part. I drank to blackout everyday /night. I had no off switch .

Woke up one morning and something in my head said you need to go to rehab. Guess I was sick and tired of being sick and tired . I woke up that morning and did what I always did , went to the freezer grabbed the bottle and drank till I stoped shaking . Once that was under control I made some phone calls , got on a airplane and headed to a rehab in Tennessee . I got on that airplane and never looked back .

Life is amazing . I enjoy everyday I wake up and my feet hit the ground . I now live a happy , joyous , and free life . I remember hearing that in meetings at the beginning and thinking what are these crazy people talking about . I now know and I really can’t comprehend why I lived life the way I did for so many years. Sobriety has made me a better person and has allowed me to be the dad my daughter deserves.
