01 What it was like
I was in the darkest time of my life
02 What happened
I was addicted to heroin for 11 yrs and I was trying to stop I was very sick and near death from withdrawal when a good friend came to my house on a whim saw my condition picked me up carried me to her car and took me to the hospital they gave me everything I would need she was then took me to her house put me in her son's room and took care of me for 30 days and saved my life
03 What it is like now
I have never gone back to that horrible lifestyle and very thankful and proud to say I have 25 years clean and sober life is great and I have a huge support system
