Substance Abuse Guidance and Education (SAGE)

SAGE operates an outpatient treatment model that accommodates working adults and those with family responsibilities through a concentrated three-day weekly schedule. Tuesday and Thursday sessions run from 9 AM to 8 PM, while Wednesday programming operates from 10 AM to 6 PM, allowing participants to maintain employment and community connections during their recovery process.

The intensive outpatient program provides more structured support for individuals requiring additional accountability and therapeutic contact, while standard outpatient programming offers flexibility for those transitioning from higher levels of care or beginning their recovery journey. Telehealth services extend program accessibility across SAGE's four-county service area, ensuring geographic barriers don't prevent participation in recovery programming.

Cognitive behavioral therapy forms the foundation of SAGE's treatment methodology, helping participants identify and modify thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to substance use.
