The 7 centers in Pendleton focus on counseling and behavioral treatment. All 7 offer substance abuse counseling and comprehensive substance use assessments during intake. Individual counseling is available at all 7 locations, providing one-on-one work with a counselor on recovery goals. Group counseling, also offered at all 7 centers, builds peer connection and accountability, helping clients learn from others facing similar challenges.
Behavioral therapies are central to treatment. Six of the 7 centers offer cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which addresses the thoughts and behaviors tied to substance use and relapse. Six also offer dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), particularly useful for clients with co-occurring mental health conditions like depression or anxiety. All 7 centers conduct screening for mental health conditions and tobacco use during initial assessment.
Recovery support extends beyond initial treatment. All 7 centers provide relapse prevention, teaching clients to recognize triggers and build effective coping strategies. Aftercare and continuing care planning are offered at all 7 locations to support sustained recovery. Six centers provide mentoring and peer support, connecting clients with others in recovery. Housing services are available at all 7 centers, helping with sober living arrangements and stable housing.
The following levels of care are not universally available in Pendleton. Confirm these options directly with each center:
- Detox and residential inpatient treatment
- Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
- Medication-assisted treatment (buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone)

All 7 treatment centers serve both male and female clients. Most centers also screen for medical complications like hepatitis exposure.
