Refuge A Healing Place begins the recovery process with medical detox services, providing safe withdrawal management in their forest setting. The residential treatment program extends from 30 days to one year, allowing clients sufficient time to address underlying trauma and develop sustainable recovery skills.

The recovery center's residential program integrates daily individual counseling, group therapy sessions, and structured programming designed around cognitive behavioral therapy principles. This extended timeframe enables deeper therapeutic work, particularly important for veterans and first responders processing occupational trauma alongside substance abuse issues.
