Penfield Addiction Ministries provides residential treatment through a structured 42-day program that addresses alcoholism, opioid addiction, heroin addiction, cocaine addiction, and meth addiction. The residential treatment creates an intensive recovery environment where clients can focus entirely on building sobriety skills and addressing underlying addiction patterns.

Beyond residential care, the recovery center offers outpatient programs, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) services. These multiple levels of care allow individuals to transition between different intensities of treatment based on their recovery progress and life circumstances, supporting both initial treatment and ongoing aftercare needs.

The recovery center integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and Christ-centered integrative treatment into their substance abuse treatment programs. This combination addresses both the psychological aspects of addiction and spiritual dimensions of recovery, providing clients with multiple frameworks for understanding and maintaining sobriety.

Medical Director Dr. Dave Ringer (MD, CPE, FAAFP) oversees clinical care alongside a team that includes licensed clinical social workers, certified addiction counselors with CADC-II credentials, and licensed professional counselors. The facility maintains CARF accreditation, ensuring treatment standards meet established recovery industry benchmarks.

Penfield Addiction Ministries serves veterans, young adults aged 18-25, seniors, men, individuals requiring HIV/AIDS support, trauma and PTSD survivors, court-ordered clients, and those with co-occurring disorders. This diverse population focus allows the recovery center to tailor treatment approaches to specific group needs and recovery challenges.

Aftercare planning and a recovery residence program extend support beyond the initial 42-day residential treatment.
