PAC Program of the Bronx offers two primary levels of outpatient care designed to meet different stages of the recovery journey. Their standard outpatient program provides regular therapy sessions and group support for individuals established in their recovery who need ongoing clinical support. This structure works well for those living in sober housing or maintaining employment while building their recovery foundation.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) delivers more frequent contact and structured support, typically involving multiple sessions per week. This option serves individuals stepping down from residential treatment, those requiring additional accountability in early recovery, or anyone needing more intensive support while remaining in their home environment. Both programs incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and can be accessed through telehealth services when appropriate.

The center specializes in treating co-occurring disorders, recognizing that many individuals in recovery also manage mental health conditions. Their dual diagnosis approach addresses both substance use disorders and conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other psychiatric concerns simultaneously. This integrated treatment model prevents the common cycle where untreated mental health issues undermine addiction recovery efforts.

Trauma-informed care forms a central component of their treatment philosophy, acknowledging how past traumatic experiences often contribute to substance use patterns.
