Nambe Pueblo's Tewa Roots Society provides structured outpatient substance use treatment to adults, young adults, adolescents, and seniors living in and around Santa Fe County. For people who are ready to engage in sustained recovery without stepping away from their homes or communities, the outpatient program offers a consistent, schedule-friendly path forward.

Sessions run Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon — a schedule designed to make ongoing substance abuse treatment workable for people with jobs, caregiving duties, or other daytime commitments.

Substance use rarely exists in isolation, and Nambe Pueblo's program is built to treat the full scope of what participants bring through the door. The center explicitly addresses co-occurring disorders and dual diagnosis — meaning clients dealing with both addiction and mental health conditions can receive integrated treatment in one setting rather than navigating separate systems.

Trauma and PTSD are also recognized conditions treated at this facility. For veterans, survivors, and others whose substance use is intertwined with unprocessed trauma, this recognition matters. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) provides a structured framework for working through those interconnected challenges during outpatient sessions.
