First Step Center MMW/Crisis Center

First Step Center operates 7 medically supervised withdrawal beds within their 24-bed residential facility, providing safe medical detox services for individuals beginning their recovery journey. The remaining 17 stabilization residential beds support clients through intensive residential treatment, creating a structured environment for early recovery development.

The center's residential treatment program combines medical oversight with therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychiatric medication management. This integrated approach addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction, particularly important for clients with co-occurring disorders who require specialized dual diagnosis care.

Following residential treatment, clients can transition to outpatient programs through Northpointe Council, maintaining continuity of care while returning to their communities. The facility's comprehensive aftercare support includes stabilization programming, family and couples counseling services, and connections to methadone maintenance programs when clinically appropriate.
