ADAPT's Monday-through-Saturday schedule, with both weekday and weekend session availability, is designed to reduce the friction that can cause participants to fall behind or drop out.

Los Angeles is one of the most linguistically diverse cities in the country, and ADAPT addresses that reality directly by employing a dedicated Spanish-language counselor on staff. Participants who are more comfortable working through personal and legal challenges in Spanish can engage fully in the program without navigating translation gaps that can undermine the counseling process.

On the financial side, ADAPT publishes its fees openly — $509 for the 3-month program, $723 for 6 months, $1,105 for 9 months, $1,553 for 18 months, and $2,834 for the full 30-month track — and offers flexible payment plans with a minimal enrollment fee. For individuals already managing the costs of a DUI conviction, that transparency and flexibility can make the difference between completing the program and not starting it at all.

ADAPT OTP Program has been part of the Los Angeles behavioral health landscape since 1981. The staff roster includes multiple counselors, a senior counselor, a face-to-face counselor, dedicated administrative staff, and leadership in the form of a program manager and office manager. That team structure means participants are not working with a single point of contact but with an organization that has built systems around consistent, ongoing support throughout their program length — whether that's three months or two and a half years.

California mandates specific DUI program tracks based on offense history and blood alcohol levels at the time of arrest. ADAPT offers all of the following: the 12-hour SB1176 course ($271), the 3-month AB541 program ($509), the 6-month AB762 program ($723), the 9-month AB1353 program ($1,105), the 18-month SB38 program ($1,553), and the 30-month SB1365 program ($2,834).
